What model Jumpflex® trampoline do I have?
If you need replacement parts but aren’t sure which Jumpflex® trampoline model you own, we can help you identify it quickly.
How to identify your model
Please email hello@jumpflex.co.nz and include:
- The number of springs
- The number of net poles
- Your order number (if available)
- A clear photo of the full trampoline set up
In most cases, the spring count and net pole count allow us to confirm the size and model right away.
Important to know
Please confirm that your trampoline is a Jumpflex® model. Our replacement parts are specifically designed to fit Jumpflex® trampolines and are not compatible with other brands.
Once we have the details above, our team will identify your model and guide you through the correct replacement parts and next steps.
Is the Jumpflex® FLEX™ CLASSIC the same as the new FLEX™ range?
In short, no — the Jumpflex® FLEX™ CLASSIC and the newer Jumpflex® FLEX™ range are not the same.
The FLEX™ CLASSIC was originally introduced when Jumpflex® offered a single core trampoline range. Since expanding our lineup to include FLEX™, HERO™, and MEGA™, each series has been purpose-built to suit different families, spaces, and budgets.
What’s the difference between FLEX™ CLASSIC and the new FLEX™?
While both are high-quality Jumpflex® trampolines, there are some key differences:
FLEX™ CLASSIC
- Built to a higher original specification (closer in strength and performance to today’s HERO™ range)
- Longer warranty coverage on certain components
- Designed as a premium, all-round family trampoline at the time
New FLEX™ Range
- Our more budget-friendly option
- Designed for lighter family use
- Streamlined features while maintaining Jumpflex® safety standards
- Lower individual weight rating compared to HERO™
Which model is most comparable to FLEX™ CLASSIC?
If you currently own — or previously owned — a FLEX™ CLASSIC and are looking for a replacement, the Jumpflex® HERO™ range is now the closest equivalent in terms of:
- Frame strength
- Weight rating
- Overall durability
- Performance level
The HERO™ range was designed to carry forward the stronger build specifications that FLEX™ CLASSIC customers were familiar with.
If you're unsure which current model best matches your previous trampoline, feel free to reach out with your model details or photos — our team will help you choose the most comparable option for your family.

Commercial Use
Standard warranties apply to residential use only. If you plan to use a trampoline in a commercial setting (e.g., gyms, sports clubs, holiday parks, schools and childcare facilities), a separate commercial warranty may be available by express written agreement from Jumpflex.
If you're unsure whether your specific issue is covered, our team can help review your situation — just get in touch and include clear photos and your order details.
What is the Jumpflex® Lifetime Warranty?
Jumpflex® is proud to offer a Lifetime Warranty upgrade — giving families the confidence to truly play for life.
Available since May 2022, this upgrade is currently offered on selected Jumpflex® HERO™ and MEGA™ trampolines, providing extended protection across the complete trampoline system.
What does the Lifetime Warranty cover?
When you upgrade to the Jumpflex® Lifetime Warranty, the following components are covered for the lifetime of the product (for the original purchaser):
- Frame
- Jumping Mat
- Springs
- Spring Pad
- Safety Net
The Lifetime Warranty covers faults, defects, or failures resulting from the manufacturing process under normal residential use.
What does “Lifetime” mean?
“Lifetime” refers to the usable life of the trampoline under normal residential conditions, as determined by Jumpflex®.
It applies to:
- The original purchaser only
- Residential use only
- Replacement of covered components
If a covered component fails due to a verified manufacturing defect, Jumpflex® will supply a replacement part in accordance with our warranty policy.
What is not covered?
The Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Strong winds, storms, or extreme weather
- Surface rust, cosmetic wear, or fading from sun exposure
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, overloading, or improper maintenance
- Incorrect assembly
- Installation on unsuitable ground or surfaces
- Commercial or high-density use (e.g. gyms, hotels, public facilities)
- Third-party installers or carriers
- Non-approved accessories.
- Improper care, maintenance, or failure to follow recommended cleaning and servicing instructions. Where such conditions apply, warranty coverage may be reduced or voided.
As with all Jumpflex® warranties, coverage applies to manufacturing defects only.
Important to know
- The Lifetime Warranty must be selected at the time of purchasing your HERO™ or MEGA™ trampoline — it cannot be added later.
- It is an optional upgrade and does not replace the standard warranty; it extends coverage duration on eligible components.
- All claims follow the standard Jumpflex® warranty claim process.
For full eligibility criteria, exclusions, and claim requirements, please refer to the official Jumpflex® Lifetime Warranty Terms & Conditions on our website.
If you’d like help deciding whether the Lifetime Warranty is right for your household, our team is always happy to assist.
What was the Jumpflex® Extended Warranty?
The Jumpflex® Extended Warranty was an optional upgrade that provided additional coverage on the Safety Net and Spring Pad beyond the standard warranty period.
If you previously purchased the Extended Warranty, your trampoline includes 6 years of coverage for:
- Safety Net
- Spring Pad
All other component coverage remained the same as the Standard Warranty.
Standard Warranty vs Extended Warranty
Standard Warranty Coverage
- 10-Year Frame Warranty
- 5-Year Jump Mat & Springs Warranty
- 3-Year Spring Pad & Safety Net Warranty
- 1-Year Accessories Warranty
Extended Warranty Coverage
- 10-Year Frame Warranty
- 5-Year Jump Mat & Springs Warranty
- 6-Year Spring Pad & Safety Net Warranty
- 1-Year Accessories Warranty
Has the Extended Warranty been replaced?
Yes. The Jumpflex® Extended Warranty has now been replaced with our Lifetime Warranty upgrade, available on selected Jumpflex® HERO™ and MEGA™ trampolines.
The Lifetime Warranty provides extended coverage across the complete trampoline system (including frame, mat, springs, spring pad, and safety net), offering broader protection than the previous Extended Warranty option.
Important to know
- The Extended Warranty applied to manufacturing defects only.
- It covered residential use only and applied to the original purchaser.
- It did not cover weather damage, misuse, incorrect assembly, or normal wear and tear.
- Extended warranty had to be purchased at the same time as the trampoline.
If you’re unsure whether you purchased the Extended Warranty or would like help understanding your coverage, our team is happy to assist.
What does the Jumpflex® warranty cover?
The Jumpflex® Warranty covers faults, defects, or failures that occur as a direct result of the manufacturing process under normal residential use.
If a trampoline component fails due to a verified manufacturing defect, Jumpflex® will provide a replacement part in accordance with your applicable warranty period (Standard, Extended, or Lifetime).
Covered components may include:
- Frame
- Jumping Mat
- Springs
- Spring Pad
- Safety Net
- Accessories (for a limited period)
Coverage duration varies depending on the trampoline series and warranty type purchased.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser only, is non-transferable, and is valid for residential use only.
For full terms and conditions, you can view the official Jumpflex® warranty policy here: Jumpflex® Warranty Terms & Conditions.
What is not covered under the Jumpflex® warranty?
The Jumpflex® Warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors, environmental conditions, or general wear over time.
This includes:
- Acts of God (such as earthquakes, flooding, lightning, or natural disasters)
- Strong winds, storms, or extreme weather events
- Ground or earth movement
- Surface rust, cosmetic paint wear, or PVC water stains
- Normal fading or weathering of pads, net, or mat
- Wear and tear from regular use
- Misuse or overloading
- Incorrect assembly or improper maintenance
- Installation on unsuitable surfaces
- Damage caused by third-party installers or carriers
- Accessories not approved by Jumpflex®
- Commercial or high-density use (e.g. gyms, hotels, public facilities)
- Improper care, maintenance, or failure to follow recommended cleaning and servicing instructions. Where such conditions apply, warranty coverage may be reduced or voided.
The warranty is designed to protect against manufacturing defects only, not environmental damage or the natural ageing of materials.
For full terms and conditions, you can view the official Jumpflex® warranty policy here: Jumpflex® Warranty Terms & Conditions.
If you’re unsure whether your issue is covered, our team is happy to review your situation and guide you through the next steps.
If I bought a used Jumpflex® product, is the original warranty still valid?
Jumpflex® warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are not transferable to subsequent owners.
If you’ve purchased a second-hand Jumpflex® trampoline, the original warranty coverage is no longer valid. This is because we’re unable to verify important factors such as:
- How the trampoline was installed
- Usage history
- Maintenance and care
- Storage conditions
- Whether genuine parts were used
These factors directly impact product performance and safety, which is why warranty coverage is limited to the original owner.
Need help with a pre-owned Jumpflex® trampoline?
While the original warranty doesn’t transfer, we’re still here to support you.
If you need:
- Replacement parts
- Help identifying your trampoline model
- Guidance on compatibility
Simply email hello@jumpflex.co.nz with clear photos and as much detail as possible, and our team will guide you through the available options.
We’re always happy to help you keep your Jumpflex® trampoline in great shape.
What should I do if my trampoline is damaged in a storm?
We can help with insurance claims
If you need to make an insurance claim, our team can provide:
- A copy of your original invoice
- A replacement invoice showing current product value
- Product details for your trampoline model
These documents can help support your claim with your insurance provider.
Replacement parts are available
If the trampoline can be repaired, you can purchase replacement parts directly from Jumpflex®.
To help us supply the correct parts, please send:
- Photos of the damage
- Your order number (if available)
- A list of the parts you need
Our team will confirm the correct components for your trampoline model.
Storm damage is not covered under warranty
Damage caused by storms, strong winds, or severe weather is not covered under the Jumpflex® warranty.
Because weather conditions are outside normal use, repairs or replacement due to storm damage are usually handled through your home and contents insurance.
Need help?
If you’re unsure whether your trampoline can be repaired, contact Jumpflex® support and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

Shipping & Delivery
How Long Does Jumpflex® Trampoline Delivery Take?
Delivery times for your Jumpflex® trampoline order depend on your location and the courier network servicing your area.
Estimated Delivery Time for Jumpflex® Orders
Most Jumpflex® trampoline deliveries within New Zealand arrive within:
- 1–5 business days for major cities and urban areas
- 3–7 business days for regional or rural locations
Orders are dispatched from our warehouse as quickly as possible so your Jumpflex® trampoline can arrive ready for assembly and bouncing.
Why Jumpflex® Trampolines May Arrive in Multiple Deliveries
Because Jumpflex® trampolines are large items, they are typically shipped in multiple boxes. Couriers sometimes deliver these boxes separately, meaning they may arrive on different days even though they were shipped together.
If part of your order arrives first, the remaining boxes are usually still in transit and arriving shortly after.
Track Your Jumpflex® Trampoline Delivery
Once your Jumpflex® order ships, you will receive a tracking link via email so you can follow your delivery progress and see estimated arrival times for each box.
Need Help With Your Jumpflex® Delivery?
If your Jumpflex® trampoline delivery is taking longer than expected, our team is happy to help.
Simply email hello@jumpflex.co.nz with your order number, and we’ll check the delivery status with the courier.
We’ll make sure you have everything you need so you can start building your Jumpflex® trampoline and enjoying the bounce as soon as possible.
How much does it cost to ship a trampoline in NZ?
Flat-rate trampoline shipping nationwide
Shipping a trampoline anywhere in New Zealand costs a flat $69 home delivery fee from Jumpflex®.
Because Jumpflex® trampolines are large, heavy, and shipped in multiple boxes, the actual courier cost to deliver a trampoline averages around $250 per order.
To keep delivery affordable, Jumpflex® subsidises most of the shipping cost, allowing us to offer a nationwide flat rate of $69.
This shipping rate applies to all Jumpflex® trampoline models delivered within mainland New Zealand.
Why trampoline shipping costs more than normal parcels
Trampolines cannot be shipped like standard packages.
Each Jumpflex® trampoline is packed into multiple oversized boxes to protect the frame, mat, springs, and safety enclosure during transport.
Due to the size, weight, and handling requirements, courier companies charge significantly higher freight fees, which is why the true delivery cost is much higher than the $69 charged to customers.
Delivery exclusions
Home delivery is not available to:
- Chatham Islands
- P.O. Boxes
These locations are excluded due to courier size and freight restrictions.
Need delivery to a rural or hard-to-access address?
If you live in a rural area or have a difficult delivery location, we recommend contacting Jumpflex® customer support before ordering so we can confirm the best delivery option for your trampoline.
Can I pick up my trampoline instead of having it delivered?
Trampoline pickup location
Yes, trampoline pickup is available from the Jumpflex® warehouse at:
730 Arthur Porter Drive, Burbush, Hamilton, New Zealand
When you arrive, please reverse your vehicle up to the warehouse roller doors and our team will load the trampoline directly into your car.
Pickup hours
Collections are available:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Pickup must be scheduled in advance to ensure your order is ready.
How to arrange pickup
After placing your order, please wait until you receive your “Ready for Pick Up” confirmation email.
Once you have received this email, contact Jumpflex® Customer Support to book your collection time:
- Phone: 0800 586 735
- Email: hello@jumpflex.co.nz
To make sure your pickup goes smoothly, please bring your confirmation email with you when you arrive.
Display models
Please note that trampoline models are not currently on display at the warehouse location.
I Haven’t Received All of My Jumpflex® Trampoline Order — What Should I Do?
If part of your Jumpflex® trampoline order hasn’t arrived yet, don’t worry — this is usually normal.
Why Jumpflex® Trampolines Arrive in Multiple Boxes
Most Jumpflex® trampolines are shipped in multiple boxes due to their size and weight. Couriers often split large shipments across different trucks or delivery runs, which means the boxes may arrive on separate days.
Step 1: Check Your Tracking Information
Start by checking the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.
Each box in your Jumpflex® trampoline delivery is scanned individually by the courier. Your tracking page should show whether:
- All boxes have been delivered
- Some boxes are still in transit
- Another delivery is scheduled for a later time or day
In many cases, the remaining box is simply arriving shortly after the first delivery.
Step 2: Contact Us if a Box Is Missing
If your tracking shows all boxes as delivered but one is missing, please contact us so we can investigate with the courier.
Email hello@jumpflex.co.nz and include:
- Your Jumpflex® order number
- Which box is missing
- A photo of the boxes you have already received
Our support team will follow up with the courier and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
We’ll Help You Get Bouncing
We know delivery day is exciting — especially when everyone is ready to start building their new Jumpflex® trampoline. If something isn’t right, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of so you can get back to the fun part: assembling, bouncing, and enjoying your trampoline.
What If I’m Not Home for My Jumpflex® Trampoline Delivery?
If you’re not home when your Jumpflex® trampoline is delivered, the courier will usually still complete the delivery.
Jumpflex® Trampolines Are Shipped With Authority to Leave (ATL)
All Jumpflex® trampoline orders are shipped with ATL (Authority to Leave). This means the courier is authorised to leave your Jumpflex® trampoline boxes at your delivery address if no one is available to receive them.
The driver will place the packages in what they determine to be a safe and secure location, such as:
- Near your front door
- Under a covered area
- Behind a gate or fence
- Another sheltered area on your property
Because Jumpflex® trampolines are shipped in multiple boxes, the courier may leave several packages at the property during delivery.
If the Courier Cannot Leave Your Jumpflex® Delivery Safely
If the courier driver cannot find a safe place to leave your Jumpflex® trampoline delivery, the boxes may be returned to the local courier depot.
In this situation, the courier will typically:
- Leave a calling card at your address, or
- Update your tracking information with instructions for redelivery or collection
Need Help With Your Jumpflex® Delivery?

Simply email hello@jumpflex.co.nz , and include your order number so we can assist you with tracking, delivery updates, or arranging the next steps.

I Can’t See My Jumpflex® Order Tracking — What Should I Do?
If you can’t see the tracking information for your Jumpflex® trampoline order, there are a few simple things to check first.
Check Your Shipping Confirmation Email
Once your Jumpflex® order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking link.
If you can’t find it, try:
- Checking your spam or junk folder
- Searching your inbox for “Jumpflex”
- Looking for the email sent after your order was shipped
Tracking May Take Time to Activate
Sometimes the tracking link for your Jumpflex® delivery may take a little time to update.
After the courier collects your Jumpflex® trampoline shipment, it can take several hours (or occasionally up to one business day) for tracking information to appear in the courier system.
If you’ve only just received your dispatch email, your tracking may still be activating.
Contact the Jumpflex® Team
If you still can’t access your Jumpflex® order tracking, our team will be happy to help.
Please email hello@jumpflex.co.nz and include:
- Your Jumpflex® order number
- The name used on the order
We’ll check your shipment details and provide the correct tracking information for your Jumpflex® trampoline delivery.

Safety & Usage
What safety standards are Jumpflex® trampolines built to?
Jumpflex® trampolines are engineered and independently tested to meet recognised international safety standards for design, materials, and performance.
Our trampolines are built to comply with:
- ASTM International Safety Standards F381-16 & 52225-15
- EN71 European Safety Standards
- Relevant AS/NZS safety requirements for Australia and New Zealand
Testing and compliance verification is conducted by Intertek, a globally recognised independent product testing and certification body.
What does this mean?
These safety standards assess key areas including:
- Structural frame integrity
- Load capacity and dynamic performance
- Spring and jump mat durability
- Impact attenuation of safety padding
- Enclosure strength and retention
- Material quality and chemical safety compliance
Independent third-party testing ensures Jumpflex® trampolines meet strict safety and durability benchmarks before reaching your backyard.
Additional safety features built into Jumpflex® trampolines
Beyond meeting international standards, Jumpflex® trampolines are designed with multiple built-in safety elements:
- Self-closing overlapping safety net entrance (no zippers to forget or break)
- High enclosure netting to help prevent falls
- Soft-edge safety padding covering springs and frame
- Reinforced net poles with protective foam sleeves
- Heavy-duty galvanised steel frame (inside and out for corrosion resistance)
- High-tensile, performance-tested springs
- UV-resistant materials designed for outdoor conditions
- Wide, stable frame base design for improved ground contact
- Secure enclosure attachment system to reduce gaps
Together, these features are designed to support safe, active family use under normal residential conditions.
What determines a Jumpflex® trampoline’s weight rating?
Jumpflex® trampoline weight ratings are based on the strength of the entire trampoline system — including the frame, springs, mat, and overall design — and are tested using both individual jumper limits and total structural capacity to ensure safe performance.
Structural factors that determine weight capacity
Every Jumpflex® trampoline is designed as a complete performance system. The following components all contribute to how much weight it can safely support:
- Steel frame thickness and diameter
- Number, length, and tension of the springs
- Quality and reinforced stitching of the jumping mat
- Overall structural design and reinforcement systems
- Comprehensive load and performance testing
Together, these elements ensure strength, durability, and consistent bounce performance.
How Jumpflex® calculates weight ratings
Jumpflex® trampolines are rated using two key measurements to reflect both real-world jumping and overall structural strength.
1. Individual Jumper Weight Rating
This is the maximum recommended weight for one jumper at a time during active use.
At Jumpflex®, this rating is designed to prevent “bottoming out” (where the jumper contacts the ground beneath the mat) while maintaining safe clearance and controlled bounce performance.
This is the most important rating for everyday use, as it reflects dynamic jumping forces rather than just standing weight.
It’s worth noting that erratic, more frequent, or more energetic jumping places more strain on the trampoline than standing still — even when within the listed limit. That’s why Jumpflex® trampolines are tested to handle typical family use and active play.
2. Total Weight Rating
This refers to the maximum load the trampoline frame and structure can support without structural damage, such as frame distortion or spring stress.
Because this measures non-moving weight, the total static load rating is always higher than the individual jumper rating
If you’re unsure which Jumpflex® model best suits your household’s needs, we’re always happy to help you choose the right option for your family.
What type of net entrance does Jumpflex® use?
Safety comes first at Jumpflex®. That’s why all current Jumpflex® trampolines feature a self-closing overlapping flap entrance within the safety net enclosure.
Why a self-closing, overlapping entrance?
Unlike traditional zip-style entries, the overlapping flap design:
- Helps ensure the entrance naturally falls closed behind the jumper
- Reduces the risk of the entry being accidentally left open
- Eliminates issues with broken, stuck, or worn-out zippers
- Removes hard closure components that can fail over time
Because there’s no zip to manage, there’s no risk of children forgetting to close it during use — helping maintain a safer enclosed jumping environment.
Jumpflex® no longer manufactures zip-style entrances on its new models, choosing instead a simpler, safer, more reliable design focused on long-term durability and everyday family safety. However, replacement nets for older models with a zip may be available for purchase. For more information please contact Customer Support.
If you’re unsure which enclosure system your trampoline has, feel free to send us a photo and we’ll be happy to help.
What Are Some Tips for Safe and Enjoyable Trampoline Jumping?
Start with Basic, Controlled Jumps
When using a Jumpflex® trampoline, it’s best to start with controlled, simple jumps before attempting more advanced movements.
Begin by:
- Standing in the centre of the mat
- Keeping your feet shoulder-width apart
- Performing small, controlled bounces
This helps you develop balance, rhythm, and confidence while getting used to the trampoline’s movement.
Use the Centre of the Mat
For the safest jumping experience, always try to jump in the centre of the trampoline mat.
The centre area provides the most stable bounce and best control, helping reduce the risk of losing balance or landing too close to the edge.
Stick to One Jumper at a Time
To reduce the risk of collisions, it is recommended that only one person jumps on the trampoline at a time.
Multiple jumpers can create unpredictable bounce patterns, which can increase the risk of injury.
Maintain Good Body Control
Good jumping technique helps improve both safety and enjoyment.
Try to:
- Keep your knees slightly bent when landing
- Maintain good posture
- Use your arms for balance
Controlled movements help you stay centred and maintain a smooth, consistent bounce.
Progress Gradually
Take your time learning new skills and always practise within your comfort level.
Check the Trampoline Regularly
Before jumping, it’s a good idea to quickly check that your Jumpflex® trampoline is in good condition.
Look for:
- Secure springs
- Stable frame connections
- Intact safety netting
Regular checks help ensure a safe and enjoyable jumping experience.
Supervise Younger Jumpers
Children should always use the trampoline with active adult supervision and follow the recommended weight and safety guidelines.
With safe use and good jumping habits, a Jumpflex® trampoline can provide years of fun, active play for the whole family.
Can I use my Jumpflex® trampoline without the safety enclosure?
Jumpflex® trampolines are designed and tested with the safety enclosure installed, and you should use your trampoline with the enclosure attached at all times.
The enclosure is an important safety feature that helps:
- Reduce the risk of falls from the trampoline
- Keep jumpers safely contained within the frame area
- Prevent accidental contact with springs and frame components
- Support compliance with safety standards the trampoline was tested against
Removing the enclosure changes how the trampoline performs and removes a key protective barrier.
Is it possible to install without the net?
While the trampoline can technically be assembled without the enclosure, we do not recommend using it this way. Doing so:
- May increase the risk of injury
- May void certain aspects of your warranty
- Means the trampoline is no longer being used as designed or safety-tested
- May lead to damage to the trampoline in some cases.
Our recommendation
For safe residential use, Jumpflex® trampolines should always be used with the full enclosure system installed and properly secured.
If you have a specific situation or need help replacing an enclosure component, our team is happy to assist.
How many people can use a trampoline at once?
One jumper at a time is recommended
For the safest jumping experience, Jumpflex® recommends one person jumping at a time.
This helps reduce the risk of collisions, awkward landings, and loss of balance, which are the most common causes of trampoline injuries.
Total weight limit depends on the model
Each Jumpflex® trampoline has a maximum total weight rating.
This rating refers to the combined weight the trampoline can safely support, not the recommended number of jumpers.
Multiple users can increase risk
We understand that trampolines are often used by friends and family together, and it is ultimately up to the owner how the trampoline is used.
However, using the trampoline with more than one person at a time increases the risk of:
- Collisions between jumpers
- Loss of balance or control
- Higher impact forces on the mat and springs
If multiple people are using the trampoline, we recommend supervision, sensible play, and staying within the total weight limit.
Important safety note
Always follow the safety guidelines provided with your Jumpflex® trampoline. Using the trampoline outside of recommended guidelines may increase the risk of injury or damage.
What should I do if my Jumpflex® trampoline package has cosmetic paint damage?
If you notice minor paint scratches, scuffs, or paint transfer on your Jumpflex® trampoline components, please don’t worry.
During transport, frame tubes can occasionally shift within the packaging. When this happens, it may cause light surface scratches to the painted finish.
Importantly, this type of damage is cosmetic only.
Jumpflex® frame tubes feature galvanised corrosion protection on both the inner and outer surfaces, meaning that surface paint wear does not affect:
- Structural integrity
- Rust resistance
- Durability
- Safe use of the trampoline
Your trampoline can still be assembled and used as intended.
Would you like us to review it?
If you’d like reassurance, simply email hello@jumpflex.co.nz and include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the affected area
Our team will review everything and let you know if any further action is needed.
We’re always here to make sure you feel confident about your Jumpflex® trampoline.
Are Jumpflex® trampoline fabrics free from PFOA and PFAS?
Yes. The fabrics used in Jumpflex® trampolines are free from PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic Acid) and PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances).
PFAS are a group of synthetic chemicals sometimes used in water- and stain-resistant coatings. Certain PFAS compounds, including PFOA, are known for their environmental persistence and have raised long-term health and environmental concerns.
As part of our commitment to:
- Product safety
- Responsible material selection
- Environmental sustainability
Jumpflex® does not use PFOA or PFAS in any of our trampoline fabrics, including:
- Jump mats
- Safety padding (spring pads)
- Enclosure netting
Our materials are selected to meet safety compliance standards while avoiding the use of these substances.
If you require further material compliance information, our team is happy to assist.
Do I need an anchor kit for my trampoline?
Anchor kits are recommended but not required
An anchor kit is not essential, but it is strongly recommended, especially if you live in an area that experiences strong winds.
Because trampolines have a large jumping surface and safety enclosure, they can be affected by gusty conditions. Anchoring your trampoline helps provide extra stability and reduces the chance of movement.
Why using an anchor kit is a good idea
Securing your trampoline to the ground can help:
- Reduce movement in strong winds
- Keep the trampoline stable during use
- Add extra safety for long-term setup
Jumpflex® offers both the ANCHORKIT™ and ANCHORKIT™ PRO, designed to help secure your trampoline safely to the ground.
Important note about weather damage
Anchor kits help reduce the risk of movement, but they cannot guarantee protection against severe storms or extreme wind conditions.
Damage caused by weather, wind, or storms is not covered under warranty, so we recommend anchoring your trampoline whenever possible, especially in exposed or windy locations.

On our website, many accessory product pages include a model selection option. Simply choose your trampoline model and size, and the page will show the compatible accessory for your trampoline.
How to Make Sure You Select the Right Accessory

What is the weight limit for the JUMPSLIDE™?
Maximum weight rating
The JUMPSLIDE™ has a maximum weight limit of 66 kg (145 lb).
This rating is the recommended maximum user weight for safe use of the slide attachment.
Recommended age range
The JUMPSLIDE™ is designed for younger children and is generally recommended for ages:
- 1 to 7 years old
The size and height of the slide are intended for smaller jumpers, making it best suited for younger users.
Important safety note
Always use the JUMPSLIDE™ according to the recommended age and weight limits.
Exceeding the limits may increase the risk of injury or damage to the slide or trampoline.
Will the SMARTSHADE™ keep leaves off my trampoline?
Helps reduce leaves, but not a full cover
Yes — the SmartShade™ will help keep some leaves and debris off your trampoline, but it will not stop everything.
The SmartShade™ is designed primarily as a sun shade, not a full weather cover, so smaller leaves and debris can still get through the fabric.
What the SmartShade™ is designed for
The SmartShade™ is best used to:
- Provide shade and UV protection
- Help keep the trampoline cooler on sunny days
- Reduce some light debris falling onto the mat
- Make jumping more comfortable in hot weather
The material is designed to allow airflow and water drainage, which is why it does not fully block leaves or dirt.
What age is the SMARTSHADE™ suitable for?
Best suited for younger jumpers
The SmartShade™ is designed primarily for younger jumpers and is generally recommended for children up to around 8 years old.
Because the shade sits at a fixed height above the trampoline, it works best for younger children who are less likely to jump high enough to reach it during normal play.
Why it works well for younger children
The SmartShade™ helps create a more comfortable jumping environment by:
- Providing UV protection
- Keeping the trampoline cooler in sunny weather
- Adding shade for longer outdoor play sessions
This makes it a great accessory for younger kids who spend extended time on the trampoline.
When to remove the SmartShade™
As children get older and begin jumping higher, some families choose to remove the SmartShade™ to allow for more vertical jumping space.
For best performance and safety, the shade should only be used as intended and removed if it interferes with normal trampoline use.
Can the SMARTSHADE™ be used in snow or freezing conditions?
We recommend taking the SMARTSHADE™ down during snow, frost, or freezing weather.
Heavy snow or ice buildup can put excess weight and strain on the fabric and frame, which may lead to damage over time.
For best longevity:
• Remove the SmartShade™ before snowfall or freezing temperatures
• Store it in a dry place during winter conditions
• Reinstall it when weather improves

How much space do I need around a Jumpflex® trampoline?
For safe installation and use, it’s important to allow adequate clearance around your Jumpflex® trampoline.
Recommended space around the trampoline
We recommend allowing:
- At least 3 ft (1m) of clear space on all sides
- No fences, walls, trees, garden edges, or hard surfaces within that zone
- Adequate overhead clearance from branches, clotheslines, roofs, or power lines
This safety clearance helps:
- Reduce the risk of impact with surrounding objects
- Allow safe entry and exit
- Prevent damage to the enclosure net
- Ensure proper airflow and stability during use
What about overhead space?
Make sure there is sufficient vertical clearance above the trampoline. Avoid placing it under:
- Tree branches
- Deck overhangs
- Pergolas
- Low roofs
- Power lines
A clear, open area is always safest.
Ground surface considerations
Your Jumpflex® trampoline should be installed on:
- Level ground
- A stable, well-draining surface
- Grass or soft ground where possible
Avoid installing on:
- Sloped ground
- Uneven paving
- Loose fill or unstable surfaces
- Concrete surfaces
Not sure if your space is suitable?
If you’re unsure whether your backyard has enough space for your chosen model, let us know the trampoline size you’re considering and your available area dimensions — we’re happy to help you plan the safest setup.
Where is the best place to set up my Jumpflex® trampoline?
Choosing the right spot for your Jumpflex® trampoline is one of the most important steps for safe setup, long-term durability, and the best bounce performance. For safe setup and best performance, your Jumpflex® trampoline should be installed on flat, level ground with enough clear space around it, a stable surface underneath, and a location that avoids hazards, strong wind exposure, and overhead obstacles.
Here’s what to consider before installing.
1. Start with Flat, Level Ground
The ideal surface is:
- Flat
- Level
- Stable
- Preferably grass
Level ground ensures:
- Even frame pressure
- Proper spring tension
- Better stability during use
- Longer product lifespan
Avoid slopes or uneven surfaces, as they can strain the frame and affect performance.
2. Allow Enough Clearance Space
For safe use, we recommend:
- At least 1 metre of clear space around all sides
- No fences, walls, trees, or hard edges within that zone
- Plenty of overhead clearance (no branches, roofs, or power lines above)
Open space reduces collision risk and protects the enclosure net.
3. Consider the Surface Type
Grass (Recommended)
- Natural shock absorption
- Stable support
- Best overall option
Artificial Grass
- Suitable if the base underneath is firm and level
- Anchoring is recommended
Concrete or Pavers
- Not recommended without thick rubber safety matting
- Hard surfaces do not absorb impact
- May increase frame movement
Wooden Decks
- Only if structurally rated for dynamic load
- Consider vibration and noise
- Ensure sufficient clearance
4. Think About Weather Exposure
Where possible:
- Avoid high-wind funnel areas
- Keep away from large overhanging branches
- Ensure good drainage under the trampoline
Using ground anchors can help improve stability in exposed areas.
5. Keep Supervision in Mind
Position the trampoline where:
- It’s visible from inside the house
- There’s safe access in and out
- The surrounding area is free from hazards
Not sure if your space is suitable?
If you’re unsure, send us:
- A photo of your yard
- Your available space measurements
- The trampoline model you’re considering
We’re happy to help you choose the safest and most suitable location for your Jumpflex® trampoline.
What should I consider when placing and installing my Jumpflex® trampoline?
Choosing the right location for your Jumpflex® trampoline is important for safety, performance, and long-term durability. Before installing, consider the following:
Level Ground
Your trampoline should be installed on flat, even ground.
Uneven or sloped surfaces can:
- Place uneven pressure on the frame
- Affect bounce performance
- Increase wear over time
If needed, level the area before assembly.
Surface Type
Grass is ideal, as it provides natural cushioning and stable support.
If installing on:
- Artificial grass – Ensure the base underneath is firm and level. Anchors are recommended.
- Concrete or pavers – Use proper rubber matting underneath and consider anchoring.
- Decking – Only if the structure is rated to handle dynamic jumping forces.
Stability underneath the trampoline is key.
Clearance Space
Allow adequate space around and above the trampoline:
- 1–2 metres of clear space on all sides
- No fences, walls, trees, or hard edges nearby
- Sufficient overhead clearance (no branches, roofs, pergolas, or power lines)
Open space reduces impact risk and protects the enclosure net.
Wind Exposure
If you live in an open or high-wind area:
- Use a trampoline anchor kit
- Avoid placing the trampoline in wind tunnels between buildings
- Take additional precautions in extreme weather
Anchoring improves stability and helps protect your trampoline.
Drainage
Avoid low-lying areas where water may collect after rain. Good drainage helps prevent:
- Ground softening
- Frame instability
- Premature wear
Access & Supervision
Choose a location that:
- Is easily supervised from the house
- Allows safe entry and exit
- Is free from surrounding hazards
Taking time to select the right location will help maximise safety, longevity, and performance.
If you’re unsure whether your space is suitable, feel free to send us a photo — we’re happy to help guide you.
Can I set my Jumpflex® trampoline up on concrete, a deck, artificial grass, or uneven ground?
The best place to install your Jumpflex® trampoline is on flat, level grass. Grass provides natural cushioning, helps with stability, and supports proper frame alignment.
If you’re considering another surface, here’s what to keep in mind:
Artificial Grass
Artificial grass can be suitable if the ground underneath is flat and stable.
- Make sure there are no soft spots or uneven fill beneath the turf
- We recommend using ground anchors to help keep the trampoline secure
The key factor is what’s underneath the turf, not just the surface layer.
Concrete or Pavers
We do not recommend setting up directly on hard surfaces unless you use proper rubber safety matting underneath.
Concrete:
- Does not absorb impact
- Can increase frame movement during use
- May increase wear over time
If installing on concrete is your only option, protective matting and anchoring are strongly recommended.
Wooden Decks
A trampoline can only be installed on a deck if the structure is engineered to support both the static weight and dynamic jumping forces.
Important considerations:
- Structural load capacity
- Vibration transfer through the deck
- Noise
- Adequate clearance around and above
If you’re unsure, consult a qualified builder or engineer before installation.
Uneven or Sloped Ground
We do not recommend installing on uneven or sloped surfaces.
Uneven ground can:
- Place uneven pressure on the frame
- Affect bounce performance
- Increase wear on certain components
- Reduce overall stability
The ground should be properly levelled before installation.
If you’re unsure whether your space is suitable, feel free to send us a photo of the area — our team is always happy to provide guidance to help you set up safely.

Important components to inspect
Frame
Check:
- All frame sections for bending, cracking, or visible damage
- Signs of excessive rust or corrosion
- Frame welds for separation or weakness
- Bolts, fasteners, and enclosure pole connections for tightness
Minor surface wear can be normal, but structural damage should be addressed before reassembly.
Springs
Inspect each spring to ensure:
- Coils remain tightly formed
- Hooks are not bent or stretched
- There are no signs of snapping or excessive deformation
A small number of slightly stretched springs may not affect use immediately, but replacing worn springs helps maintain optimal bounce performance and longevity.
Jump Mat & Safety Net
Check for:
- Tears, holes, or thinning fabric
- Loose stitching
- UV damage or excessive fading
- Weak attachment points
Any rips or significant wear should be repaired or replaced before use.
Spring Pad (Padding)
Inspect:
- The protective foam padding
- PVC outer material for cracks or splitting
- Attachment straps or bungees for wear or tearing
The spring pad plays an important role in covering springs and frame edges.

Can I put a trampoline on a slope?
Best installed on flat, level ground
Your Jumpflex® trampoline should ideally be installed on flat, level ground for the best performance and safest jumping experience.
A level surface helps keep the bounce even and ensures the frame sits correctly on the ground.
Small slopes may be acceptable
A slight slope of up to 5 degrees can usually be accommodated.
If the slope is steeper than this, jumpers may drift toward one side of the trampoline, which can affect both safety and enjoyment.
How to install on a slightly uneven yard
If your yard has a mild slope, some customers choose to level the trampoline by:
- Securely blocking the downhill legs
- Slightly digging in the uphill legs
- Preparing a level base before assembly
Any adjustments should be done carefully to keep the frame stable and fully supported.
Safety recommendation
For best results, always install your Jumpflex® trampoline on firm, level ground with good clearance around the trampoline.
If your yard has a steep slope, ground preparation may be required before installation.
How do I disassemble my Jumpflex® trampoline?
Disassembling your Jumpflex® trampoline is essentially the reverse of the assembly process. Before you begin, make sure you have enough time and at least two adults to help—especially during spring removal and when separating frame sections.
Step-by-step tips
- Remove the safety enclosure and net poles first
- Take off the spring padding (spring pad)
- Remove the springs using a spring removal tool
- Separate the frame sections last
For safety:
- Wear gloves to protect your hands
- Keep children and pets well clear during the process
- Release spring tension evenly (don’t remove all springs on one side at once)
Applying force safely
Over time, frame joints can sit tightly together due to tension and outdoor conditions. You may need to use gentle, controlled force to separate pieces. If necessary:
- Use a rubber mallet to tap joints (avoid striking the frame directly with a metal hammer)
- Apply a slight twist to help loosen stubborn connections
- If required, use a suitable penetrating lubricant (e.g., WD-40) to facilitate loosening.
Take care to avoid bending or damaging frame components.

Why do you replace parts instead of the whole trampoline?
We aim to restore your trampoline to full working condition in the most effective, practical, and sustainable way possible. Our warranty process follows the same approach used for other high-quality products, where individual components are repaired or replaced rather than replacing the entire product.
Industry-standard service
Just as you would not expect a brand-new car if a single component required attention, our warranty is designed to resolve specific issues through precise part replacement. This allows problems to be fixed efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the original product.
Avoids unnecessary disposal
Replacing one component prevents the need to dismantle and dispose of a complete trampoline frame, which can weigh over 100 kg and may be difficult to transport, recycle, or safely discard. Repairing the affected part is usually the safest and most practical solution.
Built around quality and long-term value
Our trampolines are designed with a modular structure so individual components can be replaced when needed. Warranty costs are built into the purchase price based on our high manufacturing standards and the ability to service the product using replacement parts. This approach helps keep our premium trampolines durable while remaining reasonably priced.
Better for the environment
Replacing only the affected part helps keep large amounts of steel and other materials out of landfill. By repairing instead of replacing the entire trampoline, we reduce waste, minimise transport requirements, and lower the overall environmental impact.
More affordable long-term ownership
Because we keep spare parts available for our trampoline models, repairs can still be carried out even outside the warranty period. In most cases, replacing a single component is far more affordable than purchasing a completely new trampoline, helping extend the life of your product for many years.

Health, Therapy & Sensory Use
What Are the Health Benefits of Using a Trampoline?
A Fun Way to Stay Active
Jumping on a Jumpflex® trampoline is a fun and engaging way to stay active for both children and adults. Trampolining combines cardiovascular exercise, coordination, balance, and muscle engagement, making it an enjoyable way to support overall health and fitness.
Because it feels like play, many people stay active longer and more consistently compared to traditional forms of exercise.
Supports Cardiovascular Fitness
Trampolining is a low-impact aerobic activity that helps elevate your heart rate and improve cardiovascular fitness.
Regular jumping can help:
- Improve heart health
- Increase stamina and endurance
- Promote healthy circulation
- Boost overall fitness levels
The bouncing motion provides an effective workout with less stress on joints than some high-impact activities like running.
Improves Balance, Coordination, and Strength
Using a trampoline helps develop balance, body awareness, and coordination.
Each jump requires your body to adjust and stabilise, activating multiple muscle groups and supporting:
- Core strength
- Motor skills
- Body control
- Overall coordination
Jumping also engages leg, core, and stabilising muscles, helping build strength while maintaining a playful and enjoyable activity.
Supports Sensory Regulation and Movement Needs
Trampolines are sometimes used as part of sensory play or movement breaks, as the repetitive jumping motion provides vestibular and proprioceptive input — sensory systems responsible for balance and body awareness.
For some individuals, this type of movement can support self-regulation, focus, and physical coordination.
Families and therapists may incorporate trampolining as a supportive activity for individuals with:
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Sensory processing challenges
- Developmental coordination difficulties
- Low muscle tone or reduced body awareness
While trampolining can be helpful for some individuals, it is typically used alongside professional therapies, not as a replacement for them.
May Support Respiratory Health
Trampolining (sometimes called rebounding) can also provide benefits for respiratory health because the bouncing motion encourages deeper breathing and increased oxygen circulation.
For some people, this type of activity may help support lung function in conditions such as:
- Cystic Fibrosis (CF)
- Bronchiectasis
- Asthma
- Reduced lung capacity or respiratory function
Potential Benefits for Respiratory Conditions
Regular bouncing activity may help:
- Strengthen respiratory muscles
- Increase lung capacity
- Improve cardiovascular efficiency
- Encourage deeper breathing
- Support mucus clearance in the lungs
For conditions that involve mucus buildup, the vertical motion of jumping can sometimes help loosen secretions and stimulate coughing, which may assist with airway clearance.
For example:
- Cystic Fibrosis: Bouncing can help loosen thick mucus in the lungs and may support airway clearance alongside traditional therapies.
- Bronchiectasis: The repeated motion may help trigger a cough reflex, assisting with clearing mucus from the lungs.
Asthma: Regular aerobic exercise like trampolining may help strengthen breathing muscles and improve pulmonary function.
My Child Has Autism — Is a Trampoline a Good Form of Therapy?
Why Trampolines Can Help Some Children with Autism
Many families tell us that a trampoline can be a helpful outlet for children with autism.
Jumping provides strong proprioceptive and vestibular input — the sensory systems responsible for body awareness, balance, and movement regulation. For some children, this type of physical activity can support sensory regulation and wellbeing.
Parents often report benefits such as:
- Releasing built-up energy
- Reducing stress and anxiety
- Improving focus after physical activity
- Supporting body awareness and coordination
For many children, the repetitive motion of jumping can provide predictable sensory input, which may help with self-regulation and calming.
A Helpful Tool — Not a Replacement for Therapy
While trampolines can be beneficial for some children, every child is different.
A trampoline should not replace professional therapies, but it can be a valuable addition alongside occupational therapy, sensory activities, or other support strategies recommended by your healthcare professionals.
We always recommend:
- Active adult supervision
- Following weight and safety guidelines
- Choosing a trampoline designed for frequent or energetic use
Recommended Model: Jumpflex® MEGA Range
For families looking for a trampoline suitable for frequent or energetic use, we recommend the Jumpflex® MEGA range.
The MEGA 14ft trampoline is often the most suitable option because it offers:
- Stronger construction
- Greater jumping space
- Enhanced durability
The larger jumping area can also provide more room for movement and sensory play, which some families find beneficial.
Support Options and Special Discounts
We understand that the MEGA range is not always the most cost-effective option, but it is designed for higher durability and performance.
Jumpflex® works with selected charities and community organisations, and in some cases we may be able to offer special discounts to families who need additional support.

What Should I Consider When Choosing a Trampoline for Sensory Play or Additional Support Needs?
Choosing a Trampoline for Frequent Sensory Use
Some families choose a trampoline to support sensory play, movement breaks, and physical regulation for children who benefit from regular movement-based activities.
In these situations, the trampoline may be used more frequently and for longer periods than typical recreational use. Activities such as repetitive jumping, bouncing, and movement routines can provide valuable sensory input, but they can also place additional wear on the trampoline over time.
Because of this, it’s important to choose a durable model designed to handle more frequent or sustained use.
Recommended Option: Jumpflex® MEGA 14ft
For families expecting frequent or repetitive use, we recommend the Jumpflex® MEGA 14ft trampoline.
The MEGA range is designed with stronger construction and enhanced durability, making it well suited for situations where the trampoline may be used regularly throughout the day.
Key benefits of the MEGA 14ft include:
- Stronger frame and components designed for durability
- Large jumping surface, giving more space for movement and sensory play
- Stable design that supports frequent, repeated use
- High-quality materials built to withstand more intensive activity
The larger size also allows children to move freely and comfortably, which can be helpful when using the trampoline as part of a sensory or movement routine.
Understanding Wear from Frequent and Energetic Use
When trampolines are used for repetitive movement or multiple sessions per day, they can experience more wear than typical recreational use.
Choosing a stronger model like the MEGA range can help ensure the trampoline continues to perform well under these conditions and lasts longer over time.
Because of the increased level of use, we also recommend regularly checking key components, including:
- Springs
- Frame connections
- Jumping mat attachments
- Safety net and poles
Frequent checks help identify early signs of wear, and any affected parts should be replaced if necessary to maintain safe use.
Support Options and Special Discounts
We understand that the MEGA 14ft is not always the most cost-effective option, even though it is often the most suitable for frequent use.
Jumpflex® works with selected charities and community organisations, and in some cases we may be able to offer special discounts to families who require additional support.
If you believe your situation may qualify, please contact our team and provide the name of the charity you are working with, and we will be happy to discuss the options available.
Need Help Choosing the Right Model?
Every family’s needs are different. If you’d like guidance on choosing the most suitable Jumpflex® trampoline for sensory play or regular use, our team is always happy to help you find the right fit.
Maintenance & Care
How do I clean and maintain my Jumpflex® trampoline?
Your Jumpflex® trampoline is built for year-round outdoor use and designed to handle sun, rain, and everyday family activity. However, like any outdoor product, regular care will help keep it performing safely and looking its best for years to come. It is recommended to clean the trampoline regularly.
Ongoing maintenance helps prevent:
- Premature wear
- Surface rust
- Debris build-up
- Unnecessary strain on springs and frame components
How to clean your trampoline
1. Remove loose debris
Sweep off leaves, dirt, and any sharp objects from the:
- Jump mat
- Spring pad (padding)
- Enclosure net
Keeping the mat clear helps prevent unnecessary wear.
2. Rinse with water
Use a garden hose to gently rinse the mat and padding.
3. Wash with mild soap
Lightly scrub using warm water and a mild detergent.
- Use a soft brush or cloth
- Avoid harsh chemicals
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or pressure washers
4. Rinse and air-dry
Rinse thoroughly and allow all components to fully air-dry before use.
Don’t forget the frame and springs
As part of routine maintenance, regularly inspect and wipe down:
- Springs
- Frame tubing
- Enclosure net
- Bolts and connection points
Keeping metal components clean and dry — especially in coastal, high-humidity, or high-rainfall areas — will help minimise surface rust and extend the life of your trampoline.
Rust protection (every two months)
As outlined in the Jumpflex® manual, we recommend checking for surface rust every two months.
If minor surface rust appears:
- Lightly clean the affected area
- Apply a suitable rust-protection spray or treatment
- Ensure the area is dry
Regular inspection and treatment help maintain long-term frame integrity.
Ongoing checks
We also recommend periodically checking:
- Spring tension
- Mat stitching
- Net condition
- Padding attachment straps
Routine care not only protects your trampoline but also ensures it remains safe for continued use.
If you notice anything unusual or need replacement parts, our team is always happy to help.
How do I maintain my Jumpflex® trampoline if I live near the coast?
Living near the coast means your Jumpflex® trampoline is exposed to salt air, which can increase the risk of surface rust over time.
Jumpflex® trampolines are designed for outdoor use and feature galvanised and powder-coated steel components to help protect against corrosion. However, in coastal or highly corrosive environments, all metal products require a little extra care.
How to minimise rust in coastal areas
To help protect your trampoline:
- Rinse the frame and springs occasionally with fresh water to remove salt build-up
- Wipe down metal components and allow them to fully dry
- Check bolts, joints, and connection points regularly
- Apply a light coating of anti-corrosion spray to exposed metal parts
In coastal areas, applying an anti-corrosion spray creates an additional protective barrier. This should be done regularly as part of your ongoing maintenance routine — particularly if you are close to the ocean or exposed to salt spray.
Rust protection (every two months)
As outlined in the Jumpflex® manual, we recommend inspecting your trampoline for surface rust every two months.
If minor surface rust appears:
- Clean the affected area
- Ensure it is fully dry
- Apply a suitable rust-protection or anti-corrosion treatment
Regular inspection and preventative care will significantly reduce corrosion and extend the life of your trampoline.
What to expect
In harsh coastal environments, some surface rust can still occur over time. With consistent care and routine maintenance, it can be effectively managed and minimised.
If you’re unsure how best to protect your Jumpflex® trampoline in your specific location, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help.
Will anchoring stop my Jumpflex® trampoline from blowing away?
Using an anchor kit is one of the best ways to help secure your Jumpflex® trampoline in windy conditions. We strongly recommend anchoring your trampoline — especially if you live in an open, elevated, or high-wind area.
When properly installed and anchored, Jumpflex® trampolines perform very well in normal weather conditions.
Does anchoring make it wind-proof?
No trampoline can ever be completely wind-proof.
While an anchor kit significantly improves stability and reduces movement, extreme weather events (such as severe storms or very high winds) can generate forces beyond what any outdoor product is designed to withstand.
Anchoring is an important preventative measure — but it cannot guarantee protection in extreme conditions.
Additional recommendations
In areas prone to strong winds, we recommend:
- Installing a Jumpflex® Anchorkit™ or Anchorkit™ PRO
- Avoiding wind tunnel areas between buildings
- Removing accessories such as shade covers during storm warnings
- Disassembling or laying the trampoline down in extreme weather where practical
Important to know
Weather-related damage, including damage caused by strong winds or storms, is not covered under the Jumpflex® warranty.

Can I leave my Jumpflex® trampoline outside in the snow, or should it be disassembled for winter?
Jumpflex® trampolines are designed for year-round outdoor use. The frame and springs are galvanised for corrosion resistance, and the jump mat, padding, and net are UV-treated to withstand sun, rain, and frost.
That said, snow requires a little extra care.
Can I leave it set up in winter?
Yes — you can leave your trampoline assembled during winter. However, it’s important to manage snow build-up.
Snow can become very heavy as it accumulates. Excess weight sitting on the:
- Jump mat
- Safety net
- Shade covers (if fitted)
can place additional strain on the springs, net poles, and frame.
If more than approximately 10 cm of snow builds up, it may stretch the springs and mat over time.
What should I do during snowy conditions?
If your trampoline remains assembled:
- Brush snow off regularly (use a soft broom — not a shovel)
- Clear snow from both the mat and enclosure net
- Avoid allowing compacted ice to sit on the mat
Using a shovel can damage fabrics, so a broom or soft brush is recommended.
Should I disassemble it for winter?
Disassembly is not mandatory, but it can help extend the life of your trampoline — especially in areas with heavy or prolonged snowfall.
You may choose to:
- Partially disassemble (remove and store the mat, springs, padding, and enclosure)
- Fully disassemble and store the trampoline for the season
If partially disassembling, store soft components in a dry indoor space.
What’s best?
For mild winters, brushing snow off regularly is usually sufficient. For heavy snow regions, partial or full disassembly offers added protection.
If you’re unsure what’s best for your climate or setup, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to guide you based on your location and conditions.
How do I clean green algae, mould or moss off my Jumpflex® trampoline netting?
Green algae can build up on trampoline netting over time — especially in damp, shaded, or humid areas. The good news is it can be safely cleaned with the right method.
Recommended cleaning method
1. Mix a vinegar solution
Combine:
- 1 part white vinegar
- 3 parts warm water
Pour the solution into a spray bottle.
2. Apply and let it soak
Spray the affected areas of the net thoroughly and allow it to sit for 10–15 minutes. This helps break down algae without damaging the fabric.
3. Gently scrub
Use a soft-bristled brush or sponge to lightly scrub the netting.
Avoid aggressive scrubbing, which can strain or fray the mesh.
4. Rinse thoroughly
Use a garden hose to rinse away residue and loosened algae.
5. Let it air-dry in sunlight
Allow the net to dry fully in direct sunlight. Sun exposure helps reduce lingering spores.
If the algae is stubborn
- Repeat the process if needed
- Slightly increase the vinegar concentration if necessary
- Always rinse thoroughly afterward
Important
Avoid using:
- Bleach
- Harsh chemical cleaners
- Abrasive brushes
- Pressure washers
These can weaken or damage the netting over time. Regular cleaning and ensuring good airflow around your trampoline will help prevent algae returning. If you’re unsure about your net’s condition or need replacement parts, our team is always happy to help.
When should I replace my Jumpflex® trampoline springs?
Jumpflex® trampoline springs are designed to be strong and long-lasting. However, because they are high-tension components, they can wear over time depending on usage, environment, and maintenance.
Signs your springs may need replacing
You may need new springs if you notice:
- Visible stretching or distortion
- Gaps forming between coils
- Rust that has weakened the metal
- A spring snapping or detaching
- A noticeable change in bounce performance
- Uneven tension across the mat
High-frequency or high-impact jumping can cause springs to wear faster, even when users are within the recommended weight limits.
How often should I check them?
We recommend inspecting your springs as part of your routine maintenance:
- Check for rust, stretching, or deformation
- Ensure hooks are securely attached
- Look for uneven tension around the mat
If one spring breaks, it’s a good idea to inspect the entire set to ensure consistent performance and safety.
Do I need to replace all springs at once?
Not always — but replacing multiple worn springs at the same time can help maintain even tension and balanced bounce performance.

Can I move the trampoline to mow the lawn?
Yes — the trampoline can be moved when needed
Yes, Jumpflex® trampolines can be moved if you need to mow or maintain the grass underneath.
The easiest way to move the trampoline is with two or more people lifting evenly from the frame and repositioning it to a new spot.
Some families also like to rotate the trampoline occasionally to help keep the grass underneath healthy.
Smaller trampolines are easier to move
Smaller models, such as 8ft and 10ft trampolines, can sometimes be moved by one person by carefully lifting or gently dragging the frame across the lawn.
Larger trampolines will usually require two or more people to move safely.
Remove anchor kits before moving
If your trampoline is secured with an ANCHORKIT™ or ANCHORKIT™ PRO, you will need to remove the anchors before moving the trampoline.
Once repositioned, the trampoline should be re-anchored to keep it stable.
Important safety note
Always place the trampoline back on flat, level ground before using it again, and make sure all legs are fully supported before jumping.
